The Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale New York has an incredible optical illusion that could have you walking straight into the water. Continuing my travels through New York, I had to stop at this abandoned cement mine. Upstate NY is full of really cool places to see and explore.
Traveling through Upstate New York, I stop at Orange County Choppers and meet Mikey and Paul Senior. I spend some time in the Adirondacks and go to the top of the ski jump. Olympic Park, the site of the 1980 Olympic games is home to many one day Olympians who utilize the existing ski jumps..

Abandoned boats, horse bones, and bottles, lots of bottles. Dead Horse Bay in Brooklyn, New York is definitely out of the ordinary with a very interesting and slightly dark history. I wouldn't consider it an abandoned beach but it certainly has that feel and look.
When it comes to terrorism, most everyone knows NYC for 9/11. However, many people do not know some of the terrorist attacks that plagued this city years ago. I wanted to explore these places and find the scars that have long since been left behind.
